The first two Identifier output examples are annotated examples of the real time data from the Identifier with all events enabled. The example is two calls, Line 2 calling Line 1, with Caller ID and the second example with Distinctive Ring and no Caller ID.

This example has all real-time events enabled. Each type of event may be selectively turned on or off with the ATF command (see manual).

All data is output in a fixed field format.

The following is an annotated example of querying the Identifier for details on an in process call. This is done through issuing the ATS (Status) command. If the line is in use, a +6 call detail is returned with the +7 current status. The format of the call status is:
ATS1 Command sent, Status Line 1
+6,010111200,9543440584,Y E S SOFTWARE ,2,00066,001	Call detail response and
+7,3,001 Call Status, off hook incoming

ATS2 Command sent to the Identifier
