WinLog Call Logging Software

WinLog is a free, network enabled, simple customer service, sales management and contact management software program which utilizes the telephone company's Caller ID signal, touch-tone DTMF, and a YES Identifier Telephone Line Monitor. It features instant and automatic database retrieval of customer records before the phone is answered and automatic logging of all incoming and outgoing calls. Each call record includes name, phone number, time, date, length of call, and any notes.

Categorizes and posts all incoming and outgoing phone call information to a daily ledger as well as an individual client file. All data is stored in dBase format (or can be Exported) so you can query and generate reports using standard off the shelf software. Current Caller ID data is stored in a dBase record which allows other application to access the Caller ID data in real time.

Works with ALL Phone Systems

Because the Call Data is picked up off the Telco line where they come in from the telephone company before the phone system, the Identifier works with all phone systems. caller id network connections

Sharing Identifier Data on a Local Area Network (LAN)

Only one Identifier is required for all workstations. The call data from the Identifier is stored in a shared database record. All workstations on this LAN then have access the call data. This way only one Identifier is required for use by an unlimited number of workstations. When using our Free WinLog software the caller id data is stored in a shared database record (in dBaseIII format) that can be accessed by many other database programs as well.

To run the WinLog program from another workstation all you do is create a shortcut to the WinLog.EXE on the workstaion that is connected to the Identifier. WinLog is installed only on the one workstation that is connected to the Identifier.



Line Status Screen (1 of 8 lines shown)

LINE STATUS SCREEN shows the current status of each line. This screen can be resized and placed anywhere on the Windows desktop. It shows Line Number, Type of Call (e.g. Incoming or Outgoing) Digits Dialed (outgoing), Caller ID Data (Name & Number), Phonebook Name (both incoming & outgoing), and how long the call has been in progress.


Call Log Screen

The Call Log will show the Time & Date,length, and phone number of all incoming and outgoing calls. Both incoming and outgoing phone number are looked up in the Phone Book. If the number is not found it is listed as unknown with the phone number.

Log Screen Button Functions

  • Name: Attach a call to a specific Phonebook Listing (see below)
  • Listing: Retreive Phonebook Listing Data; Address, Phone Numbers, History.
  • Locate: Shows a List of all calls to and from the Selected Log Record
  • Note: Attach a note to a call


Directory Listings

Directory displays an alphabetical listing of all Phonebook Database Records.


Phone Book Listing & Phone Numbers

PHONEBOOK LISTINGS can be instantly retrieved with a single click either before or after call is answered. When retrieved you will see the callers personal data. You also have access to call records from all previous conversations with this caller.
